Originally from Selkirk, Darren graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018 and began working in the NHS in both Forth Valley, then Greater Glasgow, gaining lots of varied experience. He moved into the private sector full time in 2022 at a clinic in Glasgow’s south side where he stayed until leaving this post in July 2023 to travel Australia and New Zealand with his partner Fiona, before returning to Scotland. Darren has experience working with all levels of patients from everyday work injuries to elite athletes returning to their sport. He enjoys helping to rehabilitate people and educate them on the complexity of their bodies, and what might be required for them to return to achieving their goals.
In his spare time Darren enjoys rugby, golf, running, and competing in CrossFit. Darren was also very proud to be appointed Royal Burgh Standard Bearer for Selkirk Common Riding in 2025.
