I qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist with ProActive Training in 2023 and hold a BSc (Hons) in Applied Sports Science from The University of Edinburgh.
My work focuses on helping clients recover from sport- and occupation-related injuries, improve mobility and functional movement, and return to their chosen activities safely and effectively. I also have an interest in biomechanics which helps us understand how the body moves to promote injury prevention and optimise performance or daily movement.
During treatments, I use a range of manual techniques including deep friction, soft tissue and myofascial release, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy, muscle energy techniques, and joint mobilisation. Each session is completely client-centred, designed to meet your individual goals – whether that is easing everyday tension, enhancing recovery, or supporting your return to sport.
I believe in building a strong therapist–client relationship to fully understand what brings you to the clinic, while also exploring lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your pain or discomfort. This holistic approach allows me to tailor each appointment specifically to your individual needs.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me in the gym, on the netball court, or being dragged along on the lead by my Labrador, Leo!
